—About McNeill Capital
Investment Leadership
Grounded in Real-World Experience.
We have led investment strategy for institutional-scale real estate portfolios, worked hands-on with companies to unlock profitability, and guided families through wealth management for over two decades. That background shapes every engagement we take on.
— What We Do
Investment Leadership at the
Level Your Capital Deserves
We serve as Chief Investment Officer to families, business owners, and private investors who want sophisticated, long-term guidance across public and private markets. The common thread among our clients is complexity: capital that has grown to the point where decisions carry real consequences and where a transactional advisory relationship no longer fits.
If you are navigating a first significant liquidity event, evaluating private investments, or seeking clarity during a business transition, we bring the experience, perspective, and structure to help you make confident, well-informed decisions.
We understand capital allocation from the vantage point of a founder, an operator, and a steward of wealth across multiple asset classes and market cycles.
What You Gain
/
CIO-caliber oversight: strategic asset allocation, private market access, and portfolio governance built for complexity at any level
/
Operator insight: guidance grounded in real-world experience building, running, and exiting businesses
/
Fee-only and fiduciary, with no product sales and no platform conflicts
/
Forward-looking capital allocation: we focus on where your capital should go, coordinated around your full financial picture
/
Direct access to Adam McNeill on every engagement, with no relay through a service team

Background & Experience
Adam McNeill founded McNeill Capital to deliver a model of wealth management that had been largely unavailable to individual investors and families outside of large private banks and institutional platforms: true outsourced CIO leadership, independent, aligned, and built for complexity at any level of wealth.
Over more than two decades, Adam has led investment strategy for institutional-sized commercial real estate portfolios, worked directly with business owners to unlock operational clarity and profitability, and guided families across wealth transitions of every scale. His background spans traditional wealth management, multi-family office services, private equity, and direct real estate asset management.
That combination of investment strategist, operating advisor, and wealth steward is what distinguishes the McNeill Capital model. Capital allocation is understood from every angle.
Our Philosophy
The most meaningful work in wealth management happens at the intersection of investment strategy, business ownership, and family planning. Most advisory models address one dimension at a time. We address all three simultaneously, and we do it from a forward-looking position: the question is always where your capital should be headed, coordinated with everything happening in your financial life.
We are fee-only and fiduciary, legally and ethically bound to act in your interest. We carry no broker relationships, sell no proprietary products, and accept no platform compensation. Our only incentive is your long-term outcome.
Our client base is intentionally selective. That selectivity ensures you always work directly with Adam, with full attention, not a service team.

— Our Principles
The Standards We Hold Ourselves To
Fiduciary Commitment
We are legally bound to act in your interest, on every recommendation, every time. That standard shapes everything we do.
Radical Transparency
You will always know how we are compensated, what we own on your behalf, and why. Clarity is a prerequisite for trust.
Forward-Looking Strategy
We focus on where your capital should go. Our process is built around future allocation decisions, not historical accounting.
Selective Partnership
We work with a limited number of clients by design. That constraint is what makes true partnership possible.
Institutional Rigor
We apply the same analytical discipline to every decision, whether managing a public equity portfolio or underwriting a private deal.
Long-Term Orientation
We are building strategies designed to compound meaningfully across decades. Quarters are not our unit of measurement.
